A new poll reveals more than half of voters want military-style training rolled out across more schools to toughen up pupils, boost fitness, and bring back some much-needed national pride.
The call is for an expansion of the Combined Cadet Force, a voluntary Ministry of Defence scheme that puts youngsters through their paces with Armed Forces-style drills, exercises, and field trips. Fewer than one in ten are against it.
