पश्चिम बंगाल के स्कूल भर्ती घोटाला केस में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट के फैसले को बरकरार रखा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पाया है कि भर्ती प्रक्रिया में बड़े पैमाने पर गड़बड़ियां की गई हैं. कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट ने पश्चिम बंगाल स्कूल सर्विस कमीशन की 2016 में 25,752 शिक्षकों और अन्य कर्मचारियों की नियुक्ति को अवैध बताते हुए भर्ती रद्द कर दी थी.

The Supreme Court has found that there have been large-scale irregularities in the recruitment process. The Calcutta High Court had declared the appointment of 25,752 teachers and other employees by the West Bengal School Service Commission illegal in 2016 and cancelled the recruitment.
