Massive Drops in Murders, Overall Crime, and Road Deaths | CVM News at 7PM: April 16, 2025
Acting Deputy Commissioner in charge of Strategic Operations, Gary McKenzie, reports a nearly 37 per cent drop in murders and an 87 per cent reduction in major crimes, along with declines in road fatalities. He made these remarks on Wednesday (March 16) in Ferry, St. Catherine, while speaking with Prime Minister Andrew Holness. McKenzie also outlined plans to further reduce highway deaths.
