‘Massive project’: Push to scale back net zero in the Coalition
Sky News contributor Chris Uhlmann says fossil fuels are part of the “modern world” and pushing for net zero means trying to “invent” new industrial-level processes.
“When we talk about net zero … that is not just the electricity sector,” Mr Uhlmann told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“That is 20 per cent of the equation.
“The other 80 per cent is how do we make concrete, steel, plastic, and ammonia, that is 80 per cent of all of our energy.”
