Minister warns against securing 'hasty' US-UK trade deal
Cabinet Office minister Pat McFadden has refused to say if or when a trade deal with the US might be signed.
The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster told Trevor Phillips a deal with Donald Trump was “possible, not certain” but it was important not to agree to anything in haste.
“I think an agreement is possible – I don’t think it’s certain, and I don’t want to say it’s certain, but I think it’s possible,” he said.
