Trinidadian Elixus Angelo had opened the scoring in the 61st minute, before Raheem Edwards added a second in the 74th to secure the victory.
The win moved Mount Pleasant to 81 points—12 ahead of second-place Montego Bay.
Chapelton Maroons remained 10th on 33 points.
