MPs shocked by attacks on Intercape buses
Intercape long distance bus service has, through its legal representative, called on Parliament to intervene in the continued attacks on its buses.
The long haul bus company’s legal representative Advocate Kate Hofmeyr appeared before the Police portfolio committee to discuss the matter.
Hofmeyr told shocked MPs that after more than 200 cases – including the murder of a bus driver – have been opened by Intercape, SAPS has done nothing to solve any of these.
