Municipal Audits | Some metros are going backwards rather than forward: Tsakani Maluleke
The number of municipalities with clean audits has improved in the 2023/24 financial year compared to the previous financial year. But those local authorities with disclaimers have increased for the same period. This was revealed by Auditor General, Tsakani Maluleke, when she presented the 2023/24 municipal audit findings to the COGTA Portfolio Committee in Parliament.
