Murang’a County Governor Irungu Kang’ata Has Filed Contempt Of Court Proceedings Against The Controller Of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o Following The Failure To Okay The Release Of County Bursary Funds, Despite A Valid Court Order Directing The Same. Kang’ata Argues That The Directives Goven By The Court To Stop Issuing Such Bursary Funds Did Not Cover The Current Year’s Budget And That The Lack Of Approval By The Controller Of Budget To Release The Monies Is In Violation Of The Court Order.
