Nationals split from Liberals leaves Australians feeling ‘deflated’
Sky News host Paul Murray discusses the “deflated feelings” from the National Party’s split from the Coalition just weeks after their devastating defeat at the federal election.
“For their part as you have seen on our airwaves tonight … leaders from the past who have been very successful in Australian politics believing today is a mistake being made by the National Party,” Mr Murray said.
“As one of millions of people who wanted these two parties to form a government, just a few weeks ago, I share every bit of deflated feelings you feel tonight.”
