New budget to be tabled on 21 May 2025
After the VAT hike reversal, the National Treasury will have to present an entirely new fiscal framework. The first budget in February didn’t see the light of day, and the second budget was also rejected but the Finance Minister is confident all parties in the GNU will accept his third. eNCA’s Heidi Giokos reports.
