New witness takes the stand in Chief Albert Luthuli Inquest
A new witness is expected to take the stand today at the reopened inquest into the death of former ANC president Chief Albert Luthuli in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
Luthuli died in 1967 after reportedly being hit by a goods train in Groutville.
His family and the ANC had disputed the findings of the initial inquest, arguing that Luthuli may have been killed by the apartheid government. .
