A doctor at Gaza’s Nasser hospital has lost nine of her children in an Israeli air strike on her family home. Paediatrician Alaa al-Najjar’s husband and son Adam are the only survivors of the attack and are receiving treatment in the Khan Younis hospital. Dr Graeme Groom, who attended to the 11-year-old boy, described it as an ‘unbearably cruel’ situation.
