Nine killed after vehicle drives into crowd at street festival, police in Vancouver say
Police in Vancouver report that nine people were killed when a vehicle drove into a crowd at a street festival, an incident Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has labelled a “car ramming attack.”
At least 20 others were injured during the Filipino Lapu Lapu Day festival, which took place just after 8pm local time.
Authorities, however, have stated they do not believe the event was an act of terrorism.
