No business is ‘immune’ to the cost of living crisis in Australia
Howard Smith Wharves Chief Executive Luke Fraser has said small businesses in Brisbane are living in a “tough environment” and are not able to “meet their needs” of cash flow during the cost of living crisis.
“No business is immune from this,” Mr Fraser told Sky News Australia.
“Energy cost is going up, insurance cost is going up.
“There is a really low unemployment rate, and that is driving wages as well.”
