No funds available to rebuild Riverlea High School
Riverlea High School is not going to be rebuilt anytime soon. The Gauteng Education Department says the best it can do, is to provide temporary mobile classrooms. But a shortage of funds means there are no immediate plans to renovate the school, after 11 classrooms were gutted in Sunday’s fire. eNCA senior reporter, Aviwe Mtila, says it’s the second such incident at the school, after another blaze in 2023. #enca #dstv403
