Northern Cape Mental Hospital | Six more implicated in R51 million tender fraud
Six more people implicated in the matter related to the Northern Cape Mental Hospital tender, valued at R51 million, have presented themselves to the Hawks.
They join the former MEC of Transport, Roads and Public Works, John Block, his former HOD Patience Mokhali and businessman Tshegolekae Motaung, who were arrested in May 2023.
They face charges of fraud, corruption, money laundering and contravention of the Engineering Professions Act and the Public Finance Management Act.
