Nova festival victim's parents on the message of hope they see in Israel's Eurovision act | ITV News
Aner Shapira died on October 7th, in the Hamas terror attack on the Nova music festival. He’s remembered as a hero, after fighting off terrorists with his bare hands.
His parents are now releasing his hip-hop music in tribute to their son.
Ahead of Eurovision they spoke of the message of hope in his songs, and how he believed in the power of music to unite communities.
They said Yuval Raphael, Israel’s entry into the competition, embodies those values.
She has faced protests over her participation in the competition, because of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
