NPA drops rape case of seven-year-old Matatiele girl: Farida Myburgh
The National Prosecuting Authority has decided not to prosecute anyone involving 7-year-old Matatiele girl rape case.
It says this is due to insufficient evidence to conduct a successful prosecution.
Last month, Police Minister Senzo Mchunu announced that there were no witnesses or suspects and a medical examination found no foreign DNA on the little girl.
