‘Number of issues’ with Coalition’s nuclear power plan
Independent Member for Warringah Zali Steggall has said there are a “number of issues” with using nuclear power.
Opposition sources have claimed the construction of seven nuclear power plants under the Coalition’s proposed energy plan will cost taxpayers $120 billion.
“The key issues are cost, it is water usage as well and then the issue of waste,” Ms Steggall said.
