‘Odds are against her’: Andrew Clennell on Sussan Ley being leader at the next election
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has spoken on Sussan Ley being elected as the first female leader of the Liberal Party.
Ms Ley was competing against shadow treasurer Angus Taylor, following the Coalition’s defeat in the federal election, which saw Peter Dutton ousted from his seat.
“It’s good to have a contest,” Mr Clennell said.
“Do I think Sussan Ley will be leader at the next election? … I would say the odds are against her.”
