Omotoso arrested in Eastern Cape
Televangelist and pastor of the Jesus Dominion International church Timothy Omotoso has been arrested in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape.
Last month, the High Court in Gqeberha acquitted Omotoso and the then co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho.
This after finding them not guilty on charges including rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Judge Irma Schoeman said in her ruling that the state had failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
A statement will be released on Omotoso’s charges.
