Omotso arrested in Eastern Cape: Lerato Fekisi reports
Recently acquitted Nigerian televangelist, Timothy Omotoso was arrested in East London in the early hours of today, on charges of contravening the provisions of the Immigration Act. This comes after the Minister of Home Affairs rejected the recent application to overturn the earlier decision to prohibit Omotoso from South Africa. Omotoso was acquitted on 32 sexual-assault related charges last month.
