Peter Dutton reveals he will help his kids with house deposit
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has revealed he will be helping his kids with buying a house as “it’s a different proposition today” in the context of home ownership in Australia.
“Like every parent, I despair at the thought of our kids not being able to get into housing,” Mr Dutton said.
“I want to make sure that Australians from any walk of life … that they can achieve their dream of home ownership.
“Young families are just going backwards under Anthony Albanese.
“People who are renting are paying close to 20 per cent more for their rent under this government than they were three years ago.”
