Police tighten security for Nedbank cup final
Law enforcement agencies in Durban will be out in full force to ensure that the Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday goes off without a hitch.
The police say that they’ve had to adjust their security plans following threats of violence doing the rounds on social media, sparked by the ticket furore. A technical glitch was blamed for thousands of fans having to queue online and physically at ticket outlets, with many failing to secure tickets for the match.
