Pope Leo expresses willingness to host Russia-Ukraine war negotiations
Continental Strategy Senior Vice President Rick De La Torre has commented on Pope Leo’s willingness to host peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has revealed Pope Leo XIV had confirmed during a phone call with her his willingness to host the next round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in the Vatican.
“This administration supports diplomacy, but only if it leads it somewhere. If Pope Leo wants peace, that’s great, but peace without pressure is just performance,” Mr De La Torre told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“If Trump’s team shows up, it will be with leverage, not platitudes.”
