Pope Leo XIV warns of the desperate crisis of faith during first mass
Australian Catholic University Associate Professor Darius Von Guttner joins Sky News Australia to discuss comments made by Pope Leo XIV during his first mass.
Pope Leo the 14th has used his first mass as leader of the Catholic Church to warn of a desperate crisis of faith and the need for a renewed focus on missionary work.
“So I guess we can say he expressed his commitment to being a faithful servant again, advocating for missionary outreach and striving to bring light to the world,” Mr Von Guttner said.
