पश्चिम बंगाल के मुर्शिदाबाद में वक्फ कानून के विरोध में हुई हिंसा के बाद कर्फ्यू जैसी स्थिति है. यहां दुकानें बंद हैं और सड़कों पर सुरक्षा बल तैनात है. जिले के सुती, समसेरगंज, धुलियान और जंगीपुर में अब हालात थोड़े शांत हैं, लेकिन तनाव बना हुआ है। जिला प्रशासन ने हिंसाग्रस्त इलाकों में धारा 163 लागू की है। बंगाल में हिंसा के बाद यहां राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाने की मांग उठ रही है।
There is a curfew-like situation in Murshidabad, West Bengal after the violence against the Waqf law. Shops are closed here and security forces are deployed on the streets. The situation in Suti, Samserganj, Dhuliyan and Jangipur of the district is a little calm now, but tension remains. The district administration has implemented Section 163 in the violence-affected areas. After the violence in Bengal, there is a demand to impose President’s rule here.
