पश्चिम बंगाल के मुस्लिम बहुल मुर्शिदाबाद जिले में वक्फ (संशोधन) अधिनियम के खिलाफ जारी विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद हुई हिंसा से हालात तनावपूर्ण बने हुए हैं. प्रभावित इलाकों में इंटरनेट बंद है. शहर में कर्फ्यू जैसे हालात हैं. दुकानें बंद हैं और सड़कों पर सुरक्षा बल तैनात हैं. अब यहां राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाने की मांग तेज हो गई है.
The situation in West Bengal’s Muslim-dominated Murshidabad district remains tense due to the violence that broke out after the ongoing protests against the Wakf (Amendment) Act. Internet is shut down in the affected areas. There is a curfew-like situation in the city. Shops are closed and security forces are deployed on the streets. Now the demand for imposing President’s rule here has intensified.
