Pro-Palestine supporters gather at Castle of Good Hope
A large crowd of pro-Palestine supporters gathered at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town for a Nakba Day rally.
This year marks the 77th anniversary of the Nakba, which means “catastrophe” in Arabic.
It is the name Palestinians give to the permanent displacement of over 700,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages in 1948 during fighting that led to the creation of the state of Israel.
