Promising wheat yields in China expected as provinces begin harvest
Wheat harvesting is underway across China, including in Sichuan Province, where expectations of a strong yield are driven by improved crop management and favorable growing conditions. Meanwhile, winter wheat planted across 2.4 million hectares in Jiangsu Province has entered the grain-filling stage. In Henan Province, the planting area is about 5.67 million hectares. The pest control and irrigation efforts have been strengthened to extend the grain-filling period and improve yields.
