Protesters call for increased funding to keep rural Ontario hospitals open
Protesters staged a ‘Day of Action’ at Queen’s Park on Wednesday, calling for more funding for rural Ontario hospitals to maintain emergency room hours.
They’re calling on Doug Ford’s government to set a standard of care requiring emergency departments to remain open.
