Radio Citizen presenters joined congregants at SDA Makongeni for a sabbath service in Nairobi.
The outreach was led by Pambazuka Show host Sally Mbeyu, marking a unique radio church storm, this time embracing the sabbath experience on a Saturday, rather than the usual Sunday tradition.
Radio Citizen’s head of radio, Tina Ogal, emphasized the importance of participating in such events, noting that they help strengthen the station’s relationship with grassroots listeners.
This comes as the station continues to top the chart in the latest national radio listenership rankings.
