RBA expected to cut interest rates by 0.25 per cent
CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski claims the consensus is that the Reserve Bank of Australia will cut interest rates by a quarter of a per cent when it meets this week.
“That’s in terms of the markets’ pricing at least – there are some intellectual arguments that would hold different positions,” he told Sky News Australia.
“But nonetheless, that’s what the markets are expecting.”
