‘Repellent’: Teals MP Sophie Scamps politicises tragic death of NRL player
The Daily Telegraph’s Tim Blair says Teals MP Sophie Scamps has “cheapened” the death of NRL player Keith Titmuss by politicising it on the 2025 federal election campaign.
“It’s repellent, and I feel for the family of the young player who died,” Mr Blair said.
“The last thing you want is this distance after the event for that to be dragged up and put into a political context, and therefore cheapen it.”
