A crew has been hailed for their resourcefulness after they used a drone as a “beacon” to help rescue a couple and their six working dogs after they were isolated on a farm by floodwaters near old Burgess Creek, about 10-kilometres from Kempsey, on the New South Wales Mid North Coast on Friday.
