Russell Brand bailed after appearing in court charged with rape and sexual assault
Russell Brand has arrived at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of indecent assault.
Detectives began investigating in September 2023 after receiving a number of allegations, which followed reporting by Channel 4’s Dispatches and The Sunday Times.
Brand has always denied having non-consensual sex since allegations about him were first aired two years ago.
