Russian President Vladimir Putin proposes direct talks with Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is prepared to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin face-to-face for talks in Turkey this week.
Vladimir Putin has invited Ukraine to take part in direct talks this Thursday(local time), hours after European leaders demanded Moscow agree to a 30-day ceasefire.
The talks will be aimed at bringing a durable peace deal between the two countries.
