The enemy is trying to cross the Oskol River to seize the R79 highway leading to strategic Kupyansk and then encircle Kharkov.<br /><br />"Our task is to prevent them from crossing the river. We do this by shelling their logistics in the rear," explains Captain Serhiy from the 1st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Bureviy".<br /><br />According to him, in recent months the Russians have significantly reduced their attempts to transfer equipment - their pontoon bridges are destroyed immediately. "Whenever they see weakness, they take what they can," says drone operator Alex.<br /><br />Another military official said the US peace initiatives were "quite disappointing".
