SA deports Nigerian preacher Timothy Omotoso
Nigerian televangelist Timothy Omotoso has officially left South Africa on a flight to Lagos in Nigeria.
This was after he voluntarily opted to be deported following his re-arrest on the 10th of May by immigration authorities in East London.
Omotoso was arrested in 2017 and faced a near decade long trial on charges of rape, racketeering and human trafficking in Gqeberha.
He was acquitted on all 32 charges on 2 April this year and released from prison.
