SA government slams the US decision to grant refugee status to 49 Afrikaners: Mahumapelo
The South African government has slammed the decision by the US to grant refugee status to 49 Afrikaners.
The United Nations has not ruled that the group has refugee status.
This comes as the Donald Trump administration decided to consider applications from Afrikaners after the US President claimed genocide against the group was taking place in South Africa.
The Chairperson of Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation Supra Mahumapelo had the following to say.
