SA-US Relations I Questions raised over SA and US relations?
As President Cyril Ramaphosa and his delegation make their way back to South Africa after a working visit to the United States, questions still linger about how successful the trip was in restting relations between the two countries.
Following what has been described as an “ambush in the Oval office” engagement on Wednesday, Ramaphosa has confirmed that the bilateral talks between the countries on trade and investment package deals will continue and are being given serious consideration by the US.
In a statement from the Presidency, Ramaphosa welcomed the expected commencement of trade talks with the US through their respective trade negotiation teams.
