The sculpture "Čiuylas" is not just a grotesque image of the Russian dictator, but a real allusion to his political activities and character. Martynas Gaubas included several important details in his work, each of which has a certain meaning.<br /><br /> Gaubas first sketched the idea at the start of the war and shared the concept on Facebook just three days after Russia launched its full-scale invasion.<br /><br />"I thought the war would end soon. But after three years, nothing has changed. So, this Christmas, I decided I had to finish the work in time for the third anniversary," the artist said, according to LRT.<br /><br />He named the sculpture "Čiuylas" and debuted it in Kaunas a week before the war’s anniversary.
