Sea lion found an incredible 50 kilometres inland from ocean in Chile
A wandering sea lion found itself more than 50 kilometres from home and the water in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park last week. Ximena Gallardo, a regional director for Sernapesca, Chile’s National Fisheries Service says the animal likely travelled up river in search of food, and was brought back to its habitat.
