Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs trial sees graphic evidence on opening day | ABC NEWS
The drug and sex-trafficking trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has begun with opening statements delivered by both the prosecution and the defence in a New York court. Prosecutors described the hip hop mogul as the head of a criminal enterprise who often called himself ‘king’, while Mr Comb’s lawyers argued the sexual encounters were adult voluntary acts and the allegations were about love, jealousy, infidelity and money. The July of 12 New Yorkers were shown graphic evidence including a video acquired by CNN of Mr Combs kicking and dragging his former girlfriend Cassandra Ventura, also khown as Cassie.
