Senzo Meyiwa I Armed robbers attack former Meyiwa murder investigator, no sensitive documents lost
Police say no sensitive documentation or evidence was taken during an armed robbery and attempted kidnapping of a former investigator linked to the Senzo Meyiwa case.
In a statement, SAPS says a high-level team has been established to investigate the attack. The former investigator was robbed on Thursday just after midnight.
The suspects took a state-issued firearm with ammunition, a police reflector jacket, a laptop bag containing a laptop, USB drives, and photocopies of documentation related to the Meyiwa case.
