Social media harm is ‘like tobacco’: Call for Govt to go further over proposed ban | Stuff.co.nz
Social media should be treated as a public health harm just like smoking, says the mum and entrepreneur who wants a government ban until kids are 16.
And Cecilia Robinson, who co-founded My Food Bag, wants social media companies like Meta and TikTok to be fined if they don’t comply.
Robinson is the co-chair of Before 16, a group of business people and experts launched today to “protect children and back parents”.
