Software developer Rose Njeri arrested for creating anti-finance bill website
Tonight, Kenyan software developer and activist Rose Njeri is spending a second night in custody at Pangani Police Station. Rose was apprehended in south b and has since been denied bail despite battling a medical condition and being a mother of two. Her arrest has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many viewing it as an act of oppression, especially coming shortly after President William Ruto’s recent apology to the youth.
