‘Soul-searching’: Coalition split an ‘opportunity to grow’
Political strategist and adviser Yaron Finkelstein claims he doesn’t think the Nationals’ split from the Coalition is as “disastrous as it’s been painted out”.
“The Liberal Party has certainly been sending a lot of signals that it needs to do some soul-searching, and this could be a way to do it unburdened perhaps by other policy areas,” Mr Finkelstein said.
“There are many people who think this is an opportunity to grow.”
