Speculation over whether Bradfield will go to a by-election amid close contest
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has speculated whether the seat of Bradfield will have to go to a by-election amid a close contest following the federal election.
“Could there be a by-election in the seat of Bradfield because the result between Liberal Gisele Kapterian and teal independent Nicolette Boele is just so close,” he said.
“If the seat gets any closer, it could end up in the court of disputed returns over who is eligible to vote, for example, and one option I’m told is to go to a by-election.”
